Elena Lafortune is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, therapist, speaker, and founder of Serenityla Therapy & Wellness. Originally from Somerville, Massachusetts, Elena moved to New York to pursue her Master’s degree in Social Work at Columbia University. She has worked in the social work field for over 11 years.
Throughout her career, Elena has worked across diverse populations and settings, including hospitals, schools, foster care, and BIPOC communities. These experiences have shaped her compassionate, culturally responsive, and holistic approach to supporting people navigating everyday life.
Elena is passionate about helping people recognize the strength, resilience, and tools they already possess within themselves. She believes everyone has the capacity for healing, growth, and inner serenity. Through her work she aims to help people and communities reconnect with those parts of themselves.

In her free time, Elena enjoys traveling and finding serenity in life’s simple pleasures, including hiking, spending time by the beach, and trying different cuisines.
